Your Scottish Family History Report

This Scottish genealogy research package should, typically, take your Scottish ancestry back to the early 1800's, however this is dependent on various factors such as the rarity of your surnames and the availability of records of records on any particular ancestral line.

Your report will contain all the information that you would expect from a report produced by a Professional Genealogist - using information from birth, marriage, death, wills, monumental inscriptions and census records, we can build a detailed picture. You will know how they earned their living and where they lived and gain an insight into their lives.

We will also supply on CD, a fully-sourced database in Gedcom format (for uploading to Ancestry, Genes Reunited or similar) and a digital version of your report in PDF format.

Each family tree is unique, and for this reason we encourage you to help us to personalise your report by providing any copies of family photographs and documents, such as Obituaries, letters and newspaper clippings. These precious memories can be preserved within your Scottish Family History Report.

Loaded with specially written software that runs from the disc, you can discover all the details in your Family History Report. The software gives you access to:

An Interactive Family Tree. View the original source documents, photographs, family tree diagrams and see at a glance how each of your family are connected. It works just like a website, built specially for you, that runs from the CD
A PDF version of the report
Any family photographs, stories and documents that you have supplied
Digital Images of the original source documents (Birth, Death, Marriage, Census returns and Wills etc)
A Gedcom file. This is a genealogy database file that can be used with commercially available family tree software or it can be uploaded to a family tree website, such as Genes Reunited

The CD encourages young people to learn of their Scottish roots using technology that they are more familiar with. In addition, if you wish to have website showing your family history, all the files you require are included on the CD, simply upload to your server.

An enormous amount of work goes into the preparation of the files for this CD, so prices are quoted on an individual basis according to the size of your finished tree. Further copies of the CD are charged at a nominal fee only.
