I’ve already blogged about the little notebook I inherited which gives some family history details on the Stevens family from Fife, Scotland, and since then I’ve had contact from two relatives (hello Chris and Paul!) so I thought I would add some more details in the hope that we find more people researching these names

Hi Jo, delighted to stumble upon your blog. I too am a descendant of Richard Stevens & Janet Forsyth., through eldest son John (he of the fascinating Will which I also just found online.) More from the little book, please! Have a fair bit of info on the family from the early 1800s. Think Richard could be the one baptised 22.11.1761 @ Abdie, son of John Stephen?
